Principal's Message

Welcome Aviator students and families!

My name is Seth Johnson, and I am thrilled to be the Principal of Orion High School. It is an honor to plan and develop this innovative high school, and I look forward to our opening in the fall of 2025.

I have been part of the Pasco School District since 2006, primarily as a teacher and the principal at New Horizons High School (NHHS). My time at NHHS has fueled my passion for finding new ways to meet the needs of our students and the community. This passion has led me to my role as the Planning Principal of Orion High School, where I have the amazing opportunity to lead a team in developing a program that will prepare students for their futures.

At Orion High School, students will have the chance to explore and prepare for their future careers. They will learn to engineer and manufacture solutions in a project-based environment, gaining hands-on experience while pursuing their high school diplomas, college credits, and industry-recognized career certifications.

I look forward to welcoming our first class of Aviators in August 2025. In the meantime, our team will continue to build the runways to launch students into their bright futures.
